Yugami Steamboat was established in 2015 in Sri Petaling, Kuala Lumpur, and is rebranding to Yu Steamboat in 2021, to bring you one of the BEST STEAMBOAT/HOTPOT in Malaysia.

There are a ton of different kinds of hotpot in Malaysia market, such as China Szechuan “Ma La Hotpot”, Japanese style “Shabu-Shabu”, Thai Style “Mookata”, Hong Kong “pork bone broth” and more. However, there are NO Malaysian Style Hot Pot in there.
Malaysian food is vibrant, surprising and full of flavour. And our aim is simple, we want to bring you the most authentic taste of Malaysian delicacies with our specialty broths that will leave you wanting for more.
With an array of authentic Malaysian flavours ranging from Malaysia Teochew Lang Fish Head Pot, Malaysia Local-Chinese style Curry broth, Penang Asam Laksa, Kajang Pepper Spicy broth, the aromatic Bak Kut Teh soup, based on everybody’s all-time-favourite ABC soup, each and every one of these broths are carefully cooked and tailor-made to tantalise your taste-buds as well as your senses.

Why
'YU'?
Derived from the name “Yugami”, the current brand name, YU retains the essence of previous the brand name of 渔家味 一 漁夫家庭的味道， translated as the taste of fresh catch – meaning fresh from the sea. In addition, the word “YU” also symbolises 与众不同, which means unique and different, hence representing that we do things differently
In “Yu Steamboat”, we serve fresh fish broth that simmered for 10 hours with fresh fish bones, flounder fish, and “YU Steamboat” signature recipe. “YU Steamboat” makes sure the food and ingredients are always top-quality.
Besides, food research and development are constantly carried out to present the newest flavor for our customers that make “YU Steamboat”, a truly Malaysian Hotpot. Other than our signature broths, we also have local flavour snacks for our customers.
